
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time and add vanilla. Mix until smooth.
Combine salt and baking soda in hot water and add to mixture, stir in.
Add flour (one cup at a time), mix until well combined.
Add chocolate chips and mix until well combined. Make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl!
Using a cookie scoop, spoon cookie dough onto a non-stick pan.
Place in oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Let the cookies cool then eat and enjoy!
